Held under the patronage of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, the forum opened with a speech by Prof. Dr. Muzafar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Academic and Scientific Supervision. He emphasized that the selection of "Artificial Intelligence and its Applications in Media" as the forum's theme reflects the university’s awareness of rapid global changes and AI’s growing impact on media production, distribution, audience analysis, and message creation. He noted that the discussions and research presented—covering AI ethics, newsroom integration, media marketing, and audience behavior analysis—mark a significant step toward building a critical and practical understanding of digital transformation in media.
Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Future University, highlighted in a university media statement the vital role of media in promoting sustainable development and raising awareness on resource preservation for future generations, whether through print, visual, or audio media. He stressed the importance of utilizing modern technologies, especially AI, to shape a media landscape that meets contemporary demands.
The festival's activities will continue until April 24, with strong engagement from academics, students, and partner institutions—affirming Future University’s role as an active platform in advancing sustainability and community development.
