Al-Mustaqbal University has successfully concluded the events of its 3rd International Sustainability Festival, which spanned an entire week and culminated in a remarkable closing day filled with impactful activities.
The final day featured a tour by the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, of the Innovation and Sustainability Exhibitions. He expressed his deep appreciation for the participants and their impressive achievements. The exhibitions showcased cutting-edge innovations and scientific products in the field of sustainability. Dr. Majdi also reviewed research and applied projects presented by the university’s students and researchers, listening attentively to detailed explanations of their innovations and practical applications.
In his closing remarks, the University President extended sincere thanks to all participants — academics, researchers, and students — commending their contributions to the success of this significant international event. 1. Presentation of over 300 innovative projects in renewable energy, waste management, archaeology, agriculture, artificial intelligence, and robotics.

• On SDG 4 (Quality Education),
• On SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) – focusing on medical technologies,
• And a joint conference addressing poverty alleviation in line with SDG 1 and SDG 2.
3. Hosting several forums and academic events, most notably:
• The 4th Media Forum,
• And the Biomedical Engineering Forum, with wide participation from international and local researchers.
4. Conducting a series of specialized workshops and seminars.
5. Signing cooperation agreements with international institutions and universities under SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
6. Organizing equestrian shows and visits to natural reserves, reflecting environmental awareness and commitment to SDG 13 (Climate Action).
7. Launching legal, social, and governance tents and exhibitions to support SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions).
8. Providing medical tents for free treatment and community support, aligned with SDG 3.
9. Holding bazaars and service-oriented activities promoting decent work (SDG 8), innovation (SDG 9), and reduced inequalities (SDG 10).
